Missed period, bloating - hypothyroid related?

Just wondered if anyone else taking thyroxine has encountered bloating and a missed period. I am wondering if it is hypothyroid related. Have booked a blood test for Tues but just abstractly wondering.

On 150mg and def not pregnant. I have taken thyroxine since Oct 2010 and periods always spot on once thyroxine levels sorted initially.

Probably nothing I know :)

I take thyroxine, just gone from 150 mcg to 100, feel much better! I think fluid retention is part and parcel of having a thyroid problem.
The reason I asked your age, as you guessed, is because a lot of women, including me, think the menopause is something that happens to old women, and then are surprised if it happens in their forties!
But you are far too young, so that's not it!
Anyway, well done on getting a blood test. I hope you get an answer, and if not, that everything gets back to normal soon!
