Firstly my DH will not go to the doctors..he says he would rather not know what was wrong :(

For the last 3 months he has had this sharp pain in the left hand side if his stomach, occasionally shooting pains own his legs, pain in his groin..... He thought it may be gluten intolerance so is trying gluten free but still has the pain.

I know it's vague but does anyone have any suggestions ...he won't listen to me to go to doctors

How old is he and is he overweight or typical weight for his height?

CMOTDibbler · 23/11/2013 14:49

Tell him to man up and go to the Drs. Theres nothing that is better just ignored, and its what responsible fathers do.

Any internet-based diagnosis bollocks unlikely to be accurate. He needs to go to the doctors. Would he go if you come with him?

peggyundercrackers · 23/11/2013 15:18

tell him to go to doc - if he wont make appoint then you should make one for him then tell him its for you but you need him to come along to hand hold then when you get there tell him its his appoint. forget that, seems loads of hassle just tell him JFDI (just f*** do it)

Hernia?

Fluffy101 · 23/11/2013 16:53

Hmmm i agree with you all ... believe you me I have tried to get him there if I booked for him he would just not go

He's 6 ft 3 and weighs 15 stone something he hardly eats anything though but never loses weight....he skips breakfast and sometimes dinner then has what I would call a snack for tea

I have wondered about thyroid as his dad has it but I don't know if it would cause the pains
