I have been trying to get a gp appointment for a few weeks but can never get in and keep being told to go to a walk in centre that is 20 miles away, which I simply can't be arsed with. But I have digestive issues that are really getting me down. It started with painful stomach cramps right at the top left of my stomach and I have loads of wind (both ends), feel sick every morning and through the night. Have had the runs for the last 2 days but before that I was having really irregular trips to the loo. I feel full really quickly and really don't feel like eating much. This has been coming and going for 3 weeks or so and now its affecting my sleep.

I thought it might be IBS at first but not sure as I think the pain in the top of my stomach is too high to be IBS.
Does anyone have any insight as to what this is? I also suffer from hypermobility which is much worse when I sleep badly so that has flared up again now :(
Any advice much appreciated.

you must get to the doctor. Insist on an appointment. It could be stress which believe me can cause terrible digestive upsets, but until you know, there's nothing you can do about it.

I suppose stress could be a contributing factor. It seems to be affected by food though. The cramps first started after eating a big meal and having a bottle of pale ale! Very strange, never experienced anything like it before!
