Getting results

Had mri Monday lunchtime, results should be with gp in 14 days, but if they found anything really urgent would they let me know sooner, has anyone been unfortunate enough to have had an urgent recall, just want to know when to stop panicking as not sleeping with worry

Don't panic. I had an MRI on 26th Sept and got a message left on my phone asking me to come into clinic to see my consultant on 9th Oct. Was v worried as my next appt was due to be in Jan but it was just to be told what was on the scan (I knew the likely pic) and that I would need an op and treatment, all of which would happen before my next appt. None of it was unexpected, or necessarily urgent, in fact I was glad of being called in promptly.
