and i cant seem to shift it. Prior to having sam i was a size 12-14. After i had him i breastfed and lost all my baby weight within weeks. After a few months i slimmed down to a perfect size 12 without even trying Anyway ive managed to stay slim a year on after breastfeeding/having baby etc until a few months ago. I started to notice my ass looked enormous and my thighs were startint to bulge all my size 12's are a very tight squeeze cant even get into my lovely jeans anymore. The only thing i can link it to is the fact that i started taking the pill again a few mths ago-needless to say im not taking it anymore. Its been 2mths now and i still cant shift the weight its all gone to my bum, hips and thighs. What should i do? Has anyone tried that addios that helps speed up your metabolism?

what pill are you on??

Get walking! Exercise is a great way to speed up your metabolism and suppress your appetite. And it's free!

I had started scoffing too much stuff w/trans-fat, which isn't good b/c my blood pressure is naturally quite high. I was to the point where I was craving it.

So I binned all the junk and have subbed in fruit and other low GI snacks like oatcakes and nuts.

Tough the first few days, but as an added bonus I've lost the jelly belly.

Is it microynon in a green and white packet

Funnily enough, I have up until recently been taking Microgynon for the past three years. My weight went up a few pounds (but not that much) and stabilised. I recently changed to Marvelon due to spotting on Microgynon and within about a week I had lost 4 pounds. I weighed myself a few days after the change and all I can put it down to is the change in pill as my exercise/eating habits didn't change that much in a week to shift four pounds! However, my weight has again since remained the same, so maybe Microgynon does make some ladies put on weight/retain water.

I'm on Microgynon and though I haven't really put on much weight (now actually losing it thanks to taking up jogging and being a bit more sensible about what I eat), my appetite is huge.

I can easily eat more than DH if I let myself.

Now I'm being more careful (ie. 2 biscuits instead of 3/4 of the packet ), I find I'm constantly hungry.

Am very tempted to stop taking it, but am terrified about my periods returning and how they will be, as they were very heavy before the children!!!
