Period has lasted 14 days, should I be worried?

My periods are usually about 6/7 days. I am on day 14 and counting. It's not heavy now but it's still very much there. This has never happened before. Should I be worried? Do I need to see someone or just wait and see what happens next time?

How old are you? Periods can get longer leading up to the menopause.

I am 37, hoping it isn't that just yet!

I was peri menopausal from 35 < helpful>.
If its unusual for you and you're worried, get it checked out.

Day 15

Are you having any other unusual symptoms? I think I'd try & speak to a doctor or get appointment if I were you. A friend of mine had this at university, she had to get medical help as was a hormone problem.
