MRI scan and pregnancy

Has anyone ever had an MRI scan while they are pregnant? I am going to the specialist on Friday to sort out one. I know that they recommend not having one in the firs three months but thats it. Can anyone help?

yep I had one, it was an MRI scan on my head, I was only just PG as well, Joey's turned out fine, in a letter form my consultant Gyno she said MRI scan's were harmless to babies and I shouldn't worry - but i'd suggest u tlak to your M/W jsut incase and advise them at teh MRI as well.

thanks for bumping soupdragon and for posting munz, i will tell them all of course on Friday. My MRI will be on my back, so its a bit more 'tummy' focused. Will have to play it by ear and take the advice as it comes!
