Developing skin discolouration.

Over the past few months I've started developing a group of small blotches in between my breasts which I noticed today has now started on my breasts too. There a few shades darker then my skin colour and look like a birth mark would I think.

I was hoping they were going to disappear on there own but they seem to be getting darker and more of them. Any suggestions how to get rid of them or what they might be?

What scary things does Google say?

I would see a GP for that.

Mabelface · 16/11/2013 18:47

might be a fungal infection. worth a visit to the gp.

Melasma?

confusedalways · 16/11/2013 19:07

I'm trying to avoid googling it! What's melasma? Really you think it's doctor worthy?

Definitely GP, I think

vitilago was one of my thoughts, and it can get worse worse with age so effectively appear out of nowhere. anyway, yes I'd ask doc, I presume your partner can verify that he sees the discolouration, you don't think it's just in your head?

Vitiligo causes depigmentation - skin becomes whiter, rather than darker. Are there any other symptoms, OP? I think you should definitely see your GP after the weekend

I'm only 20! No partner but it's most definitely there. That part of my skin is very pale as it sees no sunshine obviously, so it's very easily noticeable.
