Stupid question - should a 5 yr old be getting hair on his legs?

I know that sounds daft - I just can't remember when I started getting noticeable hair on arms/legs when I was a kid.

I'm only talking about fine hairs but noticeable all the same & I'm sure he didn't have them a month ago. Usual ?

i have notices my godson has alot of blonde hair on his legs, so infact does my ds1.

DS1 (7) has incredibly hairly legs. White blonde fortunately so you can't really see them.

Both my DSs have lots of fine blond hair on their legs. I think it's more noticeable in the summer when the hair gets bleached/the legs get browner (though obviously not very brown because we are all using Factor 30 suncream all the time even on shady days just in case .....)

My 5 year old dd has hairy legs - blonde so they aren't too noticeable unless you're looking for them. She's always been a bit downy but these are proper hairs now, and I guess she's had them for a couple of months.

I commented last week about ds' hairy legs - he's 5 in August. He's fair though so not very noticable.

I noticed that ds2's are hairy the other day - they weren't last time I looked! He's 4 and a half.

Thanks. You've all put my mind at rest.

Singersgirl - maybe that's why I'm noticing it now. His legs are quite brown & the hair is blonde.

Thanks again. I'll find something real to worry about now!
