Blood in wee

HopSkipJumpFrogHopSkipJump · 13/11/2013 22:08

it feels like I have a mild bladder infection - I haven't drank much the past few days, but each time I wee this evening there is a reasonable amount of blood even though my wee looks dilute now. What do I do? Confused

Drink water. Lots of it.

do you feel a bit 'fluey'? If so, sounds like a case of cystitis to me.

I used to get it a lot - and there was a lot of blood in my wee.

If no improvement by the morning you should get to the GP - antibiotics will clear it up quickly if it is an infection.

I get that when i have cystitis. I usually see Dr or go to the drop in gp centre at the hospital (or whatever its called) if i can't get a Drs appointment. They usually give antibiotics. I get a lot of discomfort with mine.

I had it frequently some years back so had to have c scan which was fine.

Get it looked at urgently though, even if you feel ok.

I would be down to the surgery first thing tomorrow. These things can either clear up by themselves, or get worse. If it gets worse it'll be painful & harder to clear up. So don't delay - get to the GP!

Go to the doctors with a sample ready. Blood in urine should never be ignored.

will I be ok until morning?
i feel a bit shakey (like I'm cold even though I'm not) but the pains not awful just uncomfortable.
