Hi, I stopped bf my dd in March & since then have noticed that I seem to have developed a bit of a larger tummy as if I'm about 12 wks pg. I'm not pg so went to docs just to get it checked out. My mum died of ovarian cancer at age 60 so because of the family history he ran some blood tests. My FBC was fine, apart from bring slightly anaemic. However, my CA125 was slightly elevated at 36. 0-35 is considered normal. I have a history of endometriosis which i know can elevated this, so initially i wasn't overly wortied. He then referred me for ultrasound last week & they said I've a cyst on my left ovary about 4cm. The sonographer said it wasn't as smooth as she would like so that has now got me really worried. My GP has now referred me to a gynaecologist as an urgent case to get it checked out. I'm now really panicking thinking the worse. Can endometriosis cause cysts to have am unusual appearance? I've no symptoms other than feeling really tired but put that down to being overworked. I'm so worried about this. Any advice anyone?
