TMI - Lump on Labia?

Hi i have been very itchy on the outside only for weeks now, i have taken 2 lots of canesten treatment but it hasn't really helped. I then thought i could be reacting to always pantyliners but switching brands hasn't helped.

I have now found a lump on my labia majora inside, i don't know if it has been there the whole time as swelling has been a slight issue along with the itching.

Sorry for the over share but does anyone have any idea what could be causing this?

Does it feel a bit hard but like it has fluid/pus inside? Could be a bartholins cyst? Google and see if it sounds like what you have

It does feel hard and is visible but only tender not sore. The itchy is the main cause of discomfort.

I have had a look at bartholins thank you but it doesn't list itching as a symptom.

Could be a small cyst..a friend had similar and she has just had it removed in day surgery under L.A. Very quick, a few stitches ( disolving ones) and a bit tender for a couple of days. I think they usually do a biopsy but her cyst actually burst as it was being removed and was fluid filled so I believe there was no need in her case.Go and see your G.P to be sure..good luck.

Go see your GP, could be a cyst. I've had many. Some treated with antibiotics, some I've um...popped myself. Eurgh, yes!

Thank you, I saw my gp yesterday and they have taken swabs for testing and prescribed cream to sooth the itching. Still not sure what is causing it but they didn't seem concerned about the lump.

I now have yellow/green discharge and the itching woke me in the night so i am hoping to find out asap what is causing it.
