Just back from a&e with a severe chest infection. They have counted out pneumonia and blood clots but I am in so much pain I can't get comfortable.
I feel like I have pleuretic pain (having had pleuristy previously) in my right chest with hideous pain in my shoulder blade everytime I breathe.
I am currently sat on the edge of the bed with my feet on low stool and bent over a pillow on my lap as is the only way I can breathe with a little more comfort. Am on paracetamol and antibs. But doctors gave warned me against taking ibufrofen as I am breastfeeding.

I know this is a ridiculous.question as obviously I am the only one who can make myself comfortable. But I feel utterly shocking and need some company...that isn't a two year old or 19 week old....

Sounds awful. Can you make a pillow 'speedbump' on your bed and lie face-down with the pillows pressing against your chest?

Hope you are feeling a bit better now and got some sleep.
