Pink Stained Discharge - sorry if TMI

I noticed last week I had a slight pinky tinge to my discharge. Then today I have had it again but it is worse. My period is not due for another couple of weeks. I am early 40's.

So should I just keep an eye on it or should I be making an appointment to see my GP?

Go see GP.

Don't ignore it - it's almost certainly nothing but you'd be silly not to get it checked.

Thanks magimedi, I am always worried that they will say this is quire normal and many women experience this, or I should wait for it to happen again.

But in the meantime, don't be alarmed. It's quite common at our age for things like this to start happening - hormones start fluctuating quite wildly as our bodies begin the process of shutting up shop reproduction wise.

HettiePetal thank you for reply. I've made an appointment and the earliest I can be seen is in two weeks. I am hoping it is my age and nothing sinister.

Also, the soles of my feet are extremely itchy - I can't see anything, which is a task in trying to see the bottom of my feet! Again, thinking it may be a hormone thing.

Yes - apparently itchy skin can be because of hormonal fluctuations.

same things happened to me twice, exactly 2 weeks after period mid cycle. i'm 42. ive not been to gp yet but have heard its normal

Hi, HettiePetal! I know this is an old thread but wondered what happened as 'I've got exactly the same symptoms. I'm 37 and no other symptoms of hormonal change apart from the itchy feet and pink discharge after sex. I've been to see GP who did swabs and examination. Anxiously waiting for results and / or referral...
