Do you have allergic rhinitis instead of 'hay fever'?

I don't know, what's that? Every winter I get a permanent blocked nose and inflamed and blocked ears. It goes in the summer and then comes back again in the winter. It's like when I used to get hayfwver but without the itchy eyes. I grew out of the hayfever.

Yes I think you can have some sort of rhinitis all year round, as in perennial rhinitis. My daughter gets very sneezy when the damp and dark comes - she was diagnosed with an allergy to mould spores. It responds well to things like Flixonase and Beconase - hope that helps!
