Continuous Cough

I've had a dry continuous cough for the past week and it is showing no sign of shifting.

Something going around?!

I have a cough medicine that is a suppresant it doesn't work for very long before the cough is back.

I have been waking up in the night coughing. Fed up with it!

Snap. I have it now but my hubby had it for the last 2 months. Kept going to docs who said it wasn't an infection so no antibiotics.
He just got the 'strong' cough Medicine from the pharmacy and upped his vitamins.
Touch wood it's gone now and 2 months sleepless nights helped no one.

I had this too and lasted two months. I took lots of cough suppressant, honey straight from the jar helped too. Cold things before bed and slept upright. It was awful though and it's still lingering a bit even now but better Thankfully. Good luck hope you feel better soon.

Thanks for replies I tried to have an early night but I've just had a nasty coughing fit so up again.
