8 week old got first jabs today - what can i give him?

Can they have Calpol at 2 months? What else can i give him if he needs it?

dd2 is having her first lot the 11th, but she's 7 months so can have Nurofen.

IIRC They can have calpol for their jabs.

I dont know if hes old enough for the ibuprofin stuff.

its ok to give them a dose of calpol for injections

my lovely hv recommended giving a small dose 30mins before the injection, but after for one dose is ok too

do you have a nice hv? you could give her a ring

My HV suggested to give DD 2,5ml calpol just after jabs (in the morning) and another 2,5ml just before bed-time if needed. DD didn't have high temperature, so didn't give the evening one.

Calpol definately OK after jabs. Gp handed over a prescription without me even mentioning it.
