Chickenpox vaccine for DS?

Is it worth vacinnating a normal healthy child?

DS was few days old when his big sister had chickenpox and although he didn't appear to have any spots, i've always wondered whether he had it mildly as despite numerous cases at nursery/school (24 children at one point) he still hasn't caught it.

He's now nearly 9 so i'm really just wondering is it's worth vacinnating now to avoid a more severe reaction when he's older.

Any thoughts on this?

How about having a chat with his GP and seeing whether he can be tested for immunity? I've never had chickenpox but I was tested after exposure during my last pregnancy and have the antibodies.
