Panicking a bit.....need some hand holding...

just need to get this off my chest really as for a number of unrelated reasons I can't talk to DH or any of the rest of the family about this at the moment:

I've been having pain in my thigh for a few months now, it was just intermittent but now it's constant. No redness, swelling or tenderness, it is just a bad ache all the time. Although I know the odds are very small I'm worried because the only thing that fits those symptoms are bone tumours Sad I've been to the GP who is sending me for blood tests and an x-ray - and she said if they are anymore urgent tests that need doing the hospital will call me directly after the xray. I didn't even mention what I was worried it might be, but I've never known a GP to say that before -they normally just say ring in ten days for results. am I just panicking and reading way too much into it?

You are bound, IME, to read all sorts into anything requiring investigation because it is The Unknown Smile

It could equally, and far more likely, be due to referred nerve pain or some such. I used to get a burning sensation in my thigh from what turned out to be sciatica (no other symptoms).

Hang in there, and have a paw to hold xx

Hand holding here. Step away from Dr Google, as Ive found that the worst case scenarios are the ones you read. Hopefully you won't have too long to wait for your results. Flowers
