wow, can't believe it's a year already.

misdee · 05/07/2006 11:22

neither can I. this time last year i was falling apart and planning his funeral, as the op was so scary. i detest the machine still but am sooo thankful for it and the team at harefield, they have been amazing. they saved my husband from death.

Amazing!

Bake it a cake. With strawberry icing

Dottydot · 05/07/2006 11:23

wow - that's amazing - doesn't seem like a year. Glad it's helped you all through the past 12 months but I hope it's not long before the transplant comes along.

Blackduck · 05/07/2006 11:32

misdee was it your Peter on that TV prog the other night (didn't actually watch it, just saw the blurb on it...?

Kelly1978 · 05/07/2006 11:33

wow, I can't believe it has been a year. Glad things are going well for you. I haven't heard much lately, is he on the transplant list?

sparkler1wantsaconservatory · 05/07/2006 11:40

Hi Misdee - I haven't caught up with all the goings on with you and Peter for a while now. How is he? I know he was having visits home last time I heard. Is he home now or still in hospital?
Deffo have a party - any excuse for a glass of wine - I'll definitely be there!

SparklyGothKat · 05/07/2006 12:24

he is still in hospital, is on the list and we are now waiting for carers to be trained so he can comehome properly.

wasnt us on the programme, was a different peter, had his LVAD op the same day as Peter.

misdee · 05/07/2006 12:24
