are they still infectious if on an antibiotic with other children

into 2nd day of the antibiotic, can i take them to a bar b cue tonight with other children there.
dd has been sick since saturday afternoon and ds since yesterday.

what have they got?
how are they feeling?
are they well enough to enjoy it?

they have some throat thing. and they are both ok this morn after a crap nights sleep for ds, dd isnt as haorse as she was and he got the barking cough last night but hasnt coughed this morn.
they are talking about the bar b cue already.

should be fine - hope they enjoy it!

Generally for most nose / throat things the really infectious period is the whining miserable runny-nosed bit ie before you know they're actually ill.
