How can you tell the difference between tonsilities and sore throat?

With tonsilitis you will see big white spots in the throat and it would be extremely painful and usually enlarged.

yeah white spots here too. nastly little buggers. cant wait to have mine out. although after reading threads on here im worried as hell about the pain after

what I found reducing the pain was to first gargle with Molkosan (Bioforce) - if you cant get it I suppose vinegar might due the trick = and then gargle with 100 drops echinaforce from bioforce in a few tablespoons of water

The pusy tonsils, inflamed red and enlarged with attractive white spots, bad breath, inability to swallow, temperature, perhaps headache as opposed to "just" rough , red and painful perhaps with a cold.

If you mean symptoms - similar to flu plus really hurts to swallow.
