Hi anyone managed to get local steroids during a flare up at the weekend? if so, how?

I haven't, but I would think the walk-in centre might be worth a shot. If you can explain how your condition is usually managed they ought to credit you with knowing that you need steroids. Hope you're managing ok for now, or have been able to get something.

Just FYI my local pharmacist called NHS direct for a prescription to be faxed from the local hospital after talking to an OOH GP. This was good as it helped me from having to wait at out of hours GP for too long on a sat.
