Anyone seen an Endocrinologist?

I'm not sure what to expect. I assume blood tests for hormone levels/ deficiencies etc.
I have osteoporosis caused by Anorexia. I've lost a lot of my hair & have been diagnosed with androgenic Alopecia. I also suffer with depression.
I saw a dietician to find out ways to boost calcium & Vit D in my diet. I also need more zinc & iron. The dietician has suggested a referral to an Endocrinologist. Has anyone seen one?

I have seen more endos that I can count. The issue you will have with a bog standard NHS referral is that most endos out there now deal with diabetes and have very little idea about anything else.

If you need iron, you may need a haematologist rather than an endo.

Thanks I am not in the UK & our health care system is really good. The Dietician said the one she has recommended is really good so hopefully I will get somewhere with him.
