The shoulder bone connected to the leg bone????

On Friday I had a dreadful pain on the right side of my neck, into my shoulder blade going down the top of my right arm. I couldn't look upwards as the pain would get worse. Kind of felt like a trapped nerve but not sure if that was what it was.
The shoulder pain has now eased but all day yesterday I have had a terrible cramping pain in my right calf muscle.
I haven't done anything to cause any of these problems. Haven't lifted anything heavy, I didn't wake up with the bad neck so didn't sleep awkwardly.
I'm just wondering if they can be linked in anyway with them both being on the right hand side.
I start work on Tuesday (after 7 years break) so need to get myself sorted out. I shall probably go and see the GP tomorrow if it hasn't gone.

if you still ahve the pain tomorrow it would be worth going to the gp. i think the shoulder pain is coincidental but sometimes you get referred pain in shoulders for numerous reasons. hth

Got myself an appointment this morning at docs. Feel silly going but I have to get it checked so I'm all clear for work tomorrow.

how did u get on at the gps?

Couldn't put it down to anything in particular. Said it sounded like a muscle strain in my leg. Told me to continue with Ibuprofen and take some Paracetamol on top for pain. Seems to have eased a bit this evening.
Thanks for asking.
