how are your 21 mths old fingers?

eg how does they hold a sandwich? as my dds fingers is straight sometimes

im not sure myself!!!

if i give her a sandwich and she put it in her mouth her fingers are straight and not bent

I don't think that sounds unusual, they are still developing their fine motor skills. Can you give her raisins and will she pick them up off her high chair?

Totally normal - my DS does it too! (he's 20 months). He's also only just learned to use a spoon (most of the time) but all his nursery staff tell me this is fine - some learn at 10 months, some not till they're 2 or 3.

I practice threading with him with the cotton reels from the ELC which helps fine motor skills and putting pennies in his money box.
