Hi, I made a complaint a couple of years ago about a GP. then moved practice. i may be being paranoid but i think the new GP knows about it. Would this be possible? Thanks

GPs cannot make references to complaints in your medical records. They are recorded, but in Surgery records NOT your medical records.

It is only if you are violent that the info is shared with the Health Authority who make special arrangements for a GP to see you.

OK thanks. Was not violent / struck off or anything like that, just complaining about not being referred when I needed to be. then changed to another GP
