Aching around the abdomen - not severe, but persistent

For a little while now - 2-3 weeks, maybe longer - I've been getting a sensitive feeling in my abdominal area. It doesn't feel like a cramp or something very painful. It's not necessarily a deep pain, it's often more of sensitive sensation in my skin. Sometimes I feel the same but deeper. It has been largely focused on my left side, with occasionally being more central. Sometimes I get a fluttering/quickening feeling, which I had put down to likely being wind, still always on the left.

At first I thought it might be ovulation, as when I first noticed it I was around my usual ovulation time. I've always had lots of symptoms with my periods (pah) and I do get mittelschmerz, but this feels a bit different from usual. Considering how long it has been going on I figured it couldn't just be mittelschmerz or menstrual pain, as they've both been and gone and the same feeling has continued. Today I felt a little 'pop' in that area and then the sensitivity increased.

Alongside this, I've noticed that I've had an upset stomach a couple of times (on one occasion I got very bad cramping and diarrhoea Sad) and a bloated feeling during this period. However, I don't look bloated. I have also been getting increased lower back pain and headaches, again not severe but enough to be annoying and noticeable.

I have an appointment booked with the GP for 2 weeks' time for a separate issue but I could raise this with him too, however as it's been going on for a couple of weeks it's starting to make me Hmm and I was wondering if anyone else had experienced the same? Please don't tell me I just get to experience PMS all the time Confused

Fwiw I have hypothyroidism and recently had bloods done for thyroid function and iron, with all coming out fine. I regularly get these checked along with B12 and folic acid, so far everything seems to be managed on that front.

PS my appetite has increased noticeably, fortunately I've not put on weight and I've been trying to combat it by eating slow release foods and having little things more often when I get really hungry, but the hunger just seems to be always there in the background.

It could be an Ovarian cyst. I know a girl at work had ongoing stomach issues & pain. She had a huge cyst that was removed by keyhole surgery.
I don't think it sounds like gall bladder pain though gall stones can cause upset stomach. Can you try & get an earlier appt?

Thanks for replying, I've had a look online and other things going on are listed as symptoms of ovarian cysts (I'd ignored them as being unrelated). I'll see if I can get an earlier GP appointment and get a proper idea of what's going on.
