Restless leg sufferers

DH has been plagued with this for years . Full jerking limbs and sleep deprived. Meds work for a while and then useless.

It may well be too soon to say but having a bath each night with Epsom Salt in has been wondrous . Hot as you can stand and stay for 20 minutes . Soothes muscles and good for skin also I have read . No restless legs since .

Hope this tip helps .

YES! I suffered from restless legs syndrome when pregnant with DD (not for the other pregnancies though) and it is truly awful. You can't sleep.

I read something at the time about drinking tonic water before bedtime and it worked, but generally I found that drinking water and keeping hydrated helped, and bathing my legs in cold water before bed.

But now I have read than it could be a lack of Magnesium, so bathing in Magnesium salts apparently gets rid of it (epsam salts may have a similar effect?)
I still get it very very occasionally and when I do I just spray magnesium oil on my feet and it works a treat.
I make my own magnesium oil with half a measure of water and half a measure of magnesium flakes in a spray bottle.

Thank you for that tip chicken am off to google magnesium flakes now . Do you just put half in a cup and add same water ?
Useful when a bath isnt available for sure and more easy .
It is awful isnt it ? Hope you are ok now .
