Dr's visit re DLA claim

I'm really worried, has anyone else had one, what do they ask and do they actually want to see you do anything?
The stupid thing is that they actually wrote to me telling me to claim as they believed I am entitled to it based on a previous claim!

Hi I thought DLA was being replaced with something called PIP? Maybe it's to do with this?

I applied for DLA before the cut off date, so it's not PIP yet.
