Your thoughts on migraines....

Just that really, I already suffer from regular migraine attacks and have now been diagnosed with visual migraine also. I'm wondering if anyone has experience of visual migraine and what I can do to alleviate the frequency? (Currently four+ times a week). The dr has prescribed sumatriptan, which I'm happy to try but I'd really like to make lifestyle changes also to help. I don't need glasses but would tinted lenses help? I'm very sensitive to lights at the best of times.
Thanks in advance Smile

I take propranolol twice a day as a migraine preventative. It certainly helps (2 a month now not 2 a week!) and I take a triptan wafer when I do get a migraine. My are hormonally-triggered so I think that's the best I can hope for.
