Mirena coil

I've had mirena coil in for a year, had it fitted to stop heavy bleeding, took 6 months to settle down, but since May had no bleeding at all But now for the last 2 weeks Iv been bleeding, not loads but enough to start wearing flippin pads again
Just wondering if this is normal for bleeding to restart or do I need to see GP?

yep mine restarted was about half the amount of my usual heavy periods though, but was longer, so kid of what I gained in one way I lost in another, every month was different though, so it was hard to plan in advance,

It's strange cos Iv had absolutely nothing since may then boom! Did u question it with GP or anyone or have you just accepted it? I feel cheated!

just accepted! tmi - also had much heavier discharge.. all normal. had it taken out in march, now pregnant, doc wants me to have it again after having the baby, im really not sure.

Congratulations on the baby! Was just disappointed that I had thought bleeding had settled now back with a vengeance! may ask GP as I'm due for annual check up, thanks for listening
