I saw a surgeon today who has listed me for this procedure. I have lived with GERD for around 16 years but now its really impacting on my quality of life and my vocal chords are damaged. The meds no longer work. im really nervous. I need the surgery but I've researched and it can have an impact on your eating habits. im having it done but has anyone else had this surgery? I joined a Facebook group but many post negative comments. ....tho it is being a help. cheers.
