Strange stomach

I've got a strange pain on my left side (at waistband level) and it seems to shoot up to my boobs and under my arm, told you it was strange. My tummy seems to be swollen (more so on the left) Pain is getting worse, and feels tender, ie can feel pain when I drive over speedbumps or sit down quickly.

Been to GP tonight, he tested urine and said it was OK. Blood tests in 2 weeks. Any idease anyone?

Shingles? You can get a pain a few days before the spots come out.

Don't know about shingles, isn't that more on the surface. This feels more like a bruise PennySillin (love the name!!)

Not consitpated OldBagWantsNewBag, and would that cause the pain to shoot up under my arm? Beginning to feel like a real moaner.

Have you done any extra exercise, physical exertion in the last few days? Have you pulled a muscle, deep muscle fatigue/tear can feel like a bruise. Hmmmm love playing medical detective

Trapped wind? V painful but not usually a bruised feeling.

Thats what DH said, have you pulled a muscle? doesn't feel like it and and has bot worse over the past few days. The pain feels like a dull ache, but sometimes shoots up by body. I'm getting on my own nerves now!!

I'll google Diverticulitis Leverette. I bet GPs hate patients who google!!
