Strange discomfort in breasts

I think I know the answer but just asking...
Have had a sort of pain in one or other of my breasts, on and off, for a couple of months. It's not hugely painful. I can't feel any lumps. It's more of an ache than a pain, really. It sort of feels as though it is behind rather than in my breasts, or just in front of my rib cage. Any ideas? I need to go to the gp really don't I? I just don't want to waste their time if I'm being silly.

It sounds as though it could be costochondritis, inflammation of the connective tissue between the ribs, can be quite painful. I had this some years ago, and diagnosed after a trip to breast clinic. Yes, go to GP, you won't be wasting their time.
