Ears feeling full, lightheadeness, wobbly - caused by ear fluid?

Hi I have felt not right for the last few months, I often get dizziness as had a virus a few years ago that caused some damage but am feeling different symptoms now. I don't feel very stable walking, get lightheaded, my ears feel full and I permenantly feel like I am getting a cold. Just feel funny in my head all the time. I went to the gp a few weeks ago and she said I was fine but I did have fluid in one ear that could explain my symptoms. It would make sense in a way as I know how many things are affected by your ears but I just feel horrible most days at the moment. Has anyone else had experience of anything like this? Thanks

Yes, I have Meniere's disease--have a goggle and see if symptoms fit. It is unusual for it to develop in both ears simultaneously, though.

Thanks candle - I really feel for you with Menieres it sounds horrid, I have a distant friend who has it. My current problem seems more in my ears, it has made my dizziness worse but and have other balance problems that I didn't but am also lighteaded and feel head whooshes if I move my head too quick. I don't think its Menieres as I already have a balance problem, think its called vestibular neuronitis what I had initially but have been left with lasting problems. It;s the lightheadedness and the feeling faint that scares me .

Sounds horrible, sorry. Balance problems are so frightening and yet invisible to others!
