Ear blocked and ringing after syringing

My ear had been blocked due to a wax build up and I was booked to have syringed yesterday. I've been advised to use olive oil twice a week to soften the wax Last Thursday it finally became unblocked. Had it syringed by the nurse yesterday (who after said it is completely clear of wax) but it has left my ear blocked again and is ringing .
The nurse said it may whoosh for a while whilst the ear drum dries out

Sorry posted too soon. This is blocked though. Does anyone know if this is usual and if so when it might unblock?

If your ear became unblocked last Thursday why did you have it syringed yesterday? How is it feeling now? Is it getting better/worse/staying the same?

I've had my ears syringed loads of times and sometimes a bit of water gets stuck behind the ear drum but it usually gets out over the next couple of days. Nothing to worry about just feels a bit weird. Give it a couple of days and then go back if it's still not sorted.
