I have just found a tablet in my house but it's not something I recognise/take myself. I can't find it on google. Anyone recognise it from the description?

Any other markings? Are you sure it's an 'L' and not a 7 upside down? Anything on the other side? Some common tablets are similar, like Loratadine taken for hayfever.

BeGoodElliot · 27/09/2013 22:27

It is quite faded but pretty sure it's an L not a 7, but hay fever tablets would be reassuring thanks!

Only one I can think of is 'Levonelle' which I think is the morning after pill? Can't recall what shape it is though.

Oh it's round -ignore me.

Try this

www.healthline.com/pill-identifier?marking=L&shape=oval&color=white

Sorry about link

EBearhug · 27/09/2013 22:33

Levonelle's round.

Small white oval I would think was antihistamine tablets in this house.

BeGoodElliot · 27/09/2013 22:36

Thanks I tried that but couldn't find it on it. I'm sure it's something innocent, but have just found it on my sofa so it is really puzzling me!

Actually wondering if it could be a nicotine lozenger although I would have assumed they smelled minty?!

Loradatine - hay fever stuff

MrsShrek3 · 27/09/2013 22:40

loratadine antihistamine fits that description. in abundance in this house.

BeGoodElliot · 27/09/2013 23:23

Thanks, perhaps it's that then, still can't figure out where is came from! Very strange.

My antihistamine tablets were oblong, thin and white.
Don't know about the morning after pill. My HRT are small round and white. Also my Levithyroxine pills but can't see the faint engraving on the left half of it.

If you've had anyone other than family sitting on the couch in last year or so, I wouldn't worry about it - small tablets get everywhere, often unnoticed.

thegreylady · 29/09/2013 14:57

I have loratadine and that fits the description-it is a very very small white pill-oval shaped with an L.

candycoatedwaterdrops · 29/09/2013 15:50

I think it sounds like loratadine too. I buy pharmacy own brand ones and they slightly vary but pretty much sound like your description.
