Fever-advice please

I had a c section 20 days ago and now feel achey, lethargic and have a temp of 38.6. I m ebf dc2.

My left nipple is still cracked and sore but I don't have any red/hotspots so don't think it's mastitis.

But I'm worried it could be some other kind of infection eg in wound or uti??

What do I do given that it is Friday night? Have been discharged by midwife.

Does your wound feel sore, look angry etc? If you worried ring nhs direct or your midwife, even though you have been discharged

I have just looked at my wound and there is a tiny bit in the centre where it is weepy and bloody. I have rang mau and they have said to go in. My parents are on the way to look after ds1

Fingers crossed for you, better to check it out ..it maybe you need antibiotics

How did you get on?

They checked wound and said looked ok but have given me a week of anti bs as a precaution. Not a good way to spend a Fri night but glad I went.

Am now worried about thrush though!
