Does anyone know what this might be?

It starts with sharp lower stomach pains...stabbing-type pains. Then severe lower back pain. It can be one side or both sides.

Then vaginal bleeding. Usually only for a few hours, but sometimes it lasts a while.

It's not period-related. Menstruation tracking and using the pill to skip periods etc hasn't changed it.

i have no idea, but it sounds like you should see the GP!

My GP doesn't seem to know. They referred me for the contraception test but are now saying that they don't know, and we'll wait and see. It's affecting my work though.

I wondered if anyone had any suggestions I could take to the GP. I don't know what else to do.

have you had a scan?

CajaDeLaMemoria · 27/09/2013 12:26

An MRI and an ultrasound. I presume both were fine. It's hard to tell with my doctors, though, they'll tell you bloods were good and you'll find out months later that one level was actually really high/low/wrong and they just hadn't said.
