I had a very stressful time away, with my mum being poorly and having to look after her and the kids. I came down with a bad cough and since I have returned home a bad cold and had both for 3 weeks, this is the 4th week and feeling absolutely terrible.
I went to the doctor last week and he said it was just a virus and my chest was clear; however after blowing my nose on Tuesday and producing what can only be described as neon like orange/bright yellow snot which look horrendous and similar being coughed up, I went again and a different doctor told me I have a chest and sinus infection!
Cannot believe I have left this untreated for so long. Been on amoxicillin for 2 days now and feel slightly better but still have bad cough/cold, and don't feel well, although they have eased slightly. Just wondering if anyone else had similar and how long it took to get better - at the end of my tether now!
