Sore rib

Had a really bad cough for a month. Two lots of antibiotics and one X-ray later, have started with a really sore rib. Defo muscular but had it a week. Seems to be getting worse. How long should I leave it before going to docs. Cough fairly benign but still have a bit of mucous coming up but soooooooo sore!

A week sounds long enough to wait for it to clear up, I would go back tomorrow if you can.

Are you taking anything for it? I would suggest some ibuprofen, if you are able to tolerate it, as they will reduce the inflamation.

Poor you, you do sound like you have had a miserable few weeks, I hope you feel better soon.
