got a scan to chk for cysts next monday.

went for my consultant appt yesterday. going to have another laparosopy (had 2 laps and diathermy and d&c and buserilin in mar-oct 2001), with diathermy and hysterscopic endometrial ablation. over night in hosp. they burn the endometriosis and fill your wuterus with a chemical that heats to 87deg which burns the lining away. no more babiews for me. wont be able to carry any. this will 'buy me time' and last a cpl of yrs.

she wanted to do a hysto but due to the obstetric cholestasis i had when preg with no.2 my liver would fail with any hormones.

anyone been through similar?

i thought ablation was meant to treat uterine fibroids in women who'd completed childbearing?

also used if endo is that bad, 'instead' of a hysto as i cant have any hormone replacement.

i have trouble 'walking' some days the adhesions inside are so awful.
