Cracked rib!

I'm 29 weeks pregnant and the wee one has kicked me so hard that he's cracked one of my ribs. I've been putting up with it for a week or so because I'm used to it cracking since I fell as a child but it's now incredibly painful. The pain is spreading around my back and it's sore to breathe. I can't sit down or stand up without being in pain. Normally I would just take co-codamol and get on with it.

Posted too soon.

But with being pregnant it's not advised. Is there anything at all I can do to get some relief?

Can you get a bean bag from somewhere to lean on? I slept on mine after I experienced that.

Maybe pop to the docs for a pessary. I don't know if they given them out and I know it goes up the bum but they are good pain killers.

I've forgotten what dignity feels like since I've been pregnant Grin what kind of pessary?

I don't know I just remember their existence when I pulled the muscles in my back after pushing son number 2 out. I dont even know if they do them from the gps but might be worth asking.
