cellulitis and a temp/swollen glands - linked?

Have cellulitis in wrist/hand/arm. Am on ABs but not very good ones as am allergic to all the main ones that would be given for this.

Woken up today with a temp and swollen glands and just feel blaa. Linked or just coincidence?

Been on steroids so could just be a bit run down?

Yes could well be linked, DH gets cellulitis fairly often (has a circulation problem which causes it), he is supposed to go straight to a&e if he develops a temp and/or swollen glands.

Is the infected area hot? Maybe call GP see if they can give you an emergency appointment for this afternoon.
