Hormonal contraceptives

Is there such a thing as a hormonal contraceptive that doesn't make you spotty/moody/fat? Please give me hope!

I liked nuvaring - it's low hormone as it goes 'direct to source' and I had no issues with weight, skin or anything.
I was also fine when I came off it to TTC as well, straight back to normal, just a bit emotional around my first proper period.
