Under active thyroid?

Dd (17)has had a blood test, as she is itching the whole time and she also has very heavy periods.
Results of blood tests show signs of under active thyroid and excess of testosterone.
She has to go for more tests in November, but I'm so confused what it could be?!

Has she been referred to an endocrinologist?

Has she been started on levothroxine?

She is going for a ultra sound to see how her ovaries.
But has not been started on any meds yet.
This might all explain her extremely heavy periods.
