harman - I'm going to go along the morbid route as well in that i smoked up until i found out i was pregnant and then stopped virtually straight away once i started imagining our baby gasping for air and became racked with guilt. I kept thinking 'what if this is the puff that makes the baby think 'sod this i'm not sticking around for 9 months of this!' and then i miscarry, i would always have blamed myself. I know a girl who smoked throughout her pregancy and ended up giving birth at 6 1/2 months and her baby was so poorly. I know how difficult it is but just think that you do have the ability to stop and change to a non-smoker but once your baby is born there may not be the ability to correct any damage that may be caused. Sorry to be do the old scare tactics but i really do believe that it is important that you stop. YOU CAN DO IT!!!
