Do doctors prescribe this anymore?

I used to have it because I get this funny little rash around my mouth (that isn't there when pg or breastfeeding so must be hormonal). But someone said it had been stopped being prescribed because of the risks.

What else could I use?

I was prescribed it years ago, for acne (and contraception).

As far as I know it is still prescribed, but I doubt you will get it just for a funny rash.

Have you seen GP about rash??

When I went to the gp a couple of years ago they advised me that they did not like to prescribe it due to the side effects and suggested different pill instead, I think it was yasmin.

Yasmin & Yaz have the testosterone blocking affect that helps treat oily skin, acne & excess facial hair. I think Dianette is one of the older types that can cause blood clots.
