I'm 46, two children. Not had a period for over a year, assume I'm perimenopausal but in the last few weeks I seem to be displaying symptoms that suggest I'm ovulating?? Confused

Yes, still possible. That's why the NHS advice is not to abandon contraception if under 50 until you have had 2 years period free.

Thanks meditrina. Does that mean I could go onto have a period, in which case I will have to start the 2 year count all over again?!?
